On 26 January 2023, the US District Court for the District of Columbia decided to dismiss the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s motion to deny Chinese firm Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co., Ltd.’s petition to enforce its USD 70 million arbitral award against Nigeria.
