UK Employment Appeal Tribunal confirms Central Arbitration Committee's jurisdiction to hear EasyJet European Works Council's complaint

On 4 November 2022, the United Kingdom Employment Appeal Tribunal dismissed the appeal by EasyJet PLC. In doing so, it confirmed that the Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) has jurisdiction to hear the easyJet European Works Council’s complaint against the company under Regulations 21 and 21A of the Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 1999, as amended by the Employment Rights (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the amended TICER).
