Mexico’s Supreme Court of Justice annuls Canadian Investors’ Mining Permits following State’s failure to consult indigenous peoples

In a landmark decision, Mexico's Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) annulled the mining permits of two mining concessions on the grounds that the local indigenous community’s rights to receive prior consultation and give their free and informed consent had not been respected.
