European Court of Human Rights finds Slovak courts violated European Convention on Human Rights for failing to enforce arbitration award

In a judgement dated 30 June 2022 issued in BTS Holding AS v Slovakia (2022 ECHR 539), the European Court of Human Rights found that Slovakia had violated Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (the Convention) in a case concerning the non-enforcement of an arbitration award.
