Ukrainian gas station operators seek recognition and confirmation of arbitral award against the Russian Federation before US Court

On 9 April, 2022, Ukrainian companies Stabil LLC, Rubenor LLC, Rustel LLC, Novel-Estate LLC, PII Kirovograd-Nafta LLC, Crimea-Petrol LLC, Pirsan LLC, Trade-Trust LLC, Elefteria LLC, VKF Satek LLC and Stemv Group LLC filed a petition before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia seeking the recognition and confirmation of an Award rendered on April 12, 2019, in Stabil LLC and others v. Russia (PCA Case No. 2015-35) by an arbitral tribunal sitting in Geneva, Switzerland.
