On 13 April 2023, Deutsche Telekom AG submitted Notice before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia that, on 8 March 2023, the Swiss Federal Supreme Court rejected India’s challenge to the USD 93.3 million Arbitral Award in favour of Telekom and against India, upon which the US Court had previously stayed the proceedings.
Petitioner further notified the Court of the decision dated 26 January 2023 of the Berlin Kammergericht (“Berlin Court”), granting Deutsche Telekom’s application to enforce the Award in Germany, specifically rejecting the same argument submitted by India to that US Court.
