Chilean Constitutional Convention discusses nationalisation of copper and mining exploration and exploitation companies

As part of the Constitutional Convention currently taking place in the Republic of Chile, the Committee on Environment approved in session 38, on 1 February 2022, a proposal by Ivanna Olivares (Pueblo Constituyente), establishing the immediate nationalisation of Chile's strategic natural assets, and incorporating exploitation and exploration companies into the State's domain.
