Spain and NextEra institute international cross-actions over € 290 million ICSID award

The Kingdom of Spain and NextEra have initiated cross-actions before Dutch and US Courts, respectively, over the enforcement of a €290 million award, rendered in 2019 by an ICSID Arbitral Tribunal in favour of NextEra and against Spain (NextEra Energy Global Holdings B.V. and NextEra Energy Spain Holdings B.V. v. Kingdom of Spain, Case No. ARB/14/11).
