ICC Arbitral Tribunal grants USD 177 million Award in favour of Quanta Services Inc. subsidiary following Peru’s unlawful termination of internet access and broadband projects

Following a review and resolution of the consultations and observations made by both parties regarding the Award issued on 5 August 2022, an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Arbitral Tribunal has put an end to the arbitration proceedings between Quanta Services Inc. (Quanta) subsidiary, Redes Andinas de Comunicaciones S.R.L. (Redes), on the one hand, and the Programa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (PRONATEL), an agency of the Peruvian Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC), and the MTC, on the other.
