Hague Court of Appeal annuls Cairn v. India award

On 21 December 2021, the Civil Law Division of The Hague Court of Appeal set aside the award [see the unofficial English translation under the Documents section] delivered exactly one year earlier by an UNCITRAL Tribunal in the case entitled Cairn Energy PLC and Cairn UK Holdings Limited v. The Republic of India, PCA Case No. 2016-07.
